Pastor John Duff

Hey, John. What should we know about you as a person?

I’m a twin, and soccer is my favorite sport. (Go Arsenal!)  I enjoy woodworking projects, making functional and beautiful pieces. Exercising at the gym or running outside are good stress relievers for me.

I have been happily married to my wonderful wife Charlotte since June 2022.  We enjoy hiking and being outside together as well as eating good food.  Charlotte has taught me a lot about gardening.  We have two young nephews whom we love dearly. And a last bit about me… I really like trees.

What should we know about your role as Pastor at Trinity GMC?

As a Pastor, I get the incredible opportunity of traveling with people in their journey with God, inviting and challenging them to grow! Currently we don’t have any other staff at Trinity, but we have a great leadership team who dearly loves the church and has hopes and dreams for us.

While I love preaching on Sundays, my favorite thing to do is help groups of people grow in their faith and work together as a team to reach a shared vision. Trinity is a church that is hopeful and excited to grow and impact their community. As we join God, we pray for his Kingdom to come here in Princeton!

Children’s Minister:

Michaela Goodrum

Hey Michaela, what should we know about you as a person?

I’m a mother to two precious toddlers, and I am the only sister of six children. I’m the daughter of another Global Methodist pastor in Danville! For fun, I enjoy reading most any genre, making music, baking, and hanging out with my family.

I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Ben, since November 2018. We enjoy spending time together, taking our kids on adventures, and visiting our families. One of our absolute favorite things to do together is travel internationally to third-world countries. Some of our favorite moments both together and in the Lord’s presence have been in Haiti and Honduras.

What should we know about your role as Children’s Minister at Trinity GMC?

As a children’s minister, I get the amazing privilege of loving the families of the church, teaching children to love the Lord, teaching about the Bible, and guiding them to love as Jesus would love! It is truly an honor to work with your children; they hold such a special place with the Lord.

I am really looking forward to working with the children at Trinity and working to grow the children’s program. I believe the Lord has blessed Trinity GMC, and I look forward to watching how the Lord will work through this church in the Princeton community. May His will be done!
